Hello and welcome! My name is Kristen Taylor and I am a freelance illustrator and fine artist from Hamilton, Ontario. I work predominantly in watercolour and ink, but love to experiment with gouache, coloured pencil and digital art as well. I am a full time mama, dreamer, plant lover, and DIYer. If I’m not drawing, I am most likely spending time with family, tending to our ever-expanding garden, working on a house project, or cooking a new vegan recipe!
I am inspired by vintage scientific illustrations, children’s picture books, surface design, book binding, Scandinavian folk aesthetic and British landscapes. My number one passion is illustration but I am also crazy for anything handmade, natural, and environmentally friendly.
