Hello and welcome!

My name is Kristen Taylor and I am a freelance illustrator and fine artist from Hamilton, Ontario. I am also an art teacher for grades 1-8 and love to share my passion for art with students!

When I’m not in the studio or teaching, you can find me spending time with family, tending to our ever-expanding garden, or hiking a new trail! I love nature and learning about our native species.

I am inspired by vintage scientific illustrations, children’s picture books, printmaking and book binding. My number one passion is illustration but I am also crazy for anything handmade, natural, and environmentally friendly.
